Fiona Ryan
Director / Lawyer LLB, BA
Fiona Ryan has been providing legal services to many of Aroha Law's clients for nearly 30 years, having first started working in her father and uncle's law firm (Mike Ryan and Peter Ryan) in 1996. She is a very experienced lawyer who has a genuine interest in helping her clients achieve their goals by providing high level, quality advice and support. She is community focused, working on and assisting various local boards and societies, and feels that supporting her clients and the community they attach to goes hand in hand.
Maree Burns
Registered Legal Executive
Maree first started her legal career with the Ryan family in 2007. Gaining invaluable experience in banking, and working in law while overseas for a time, she rejoined the team in 2019. Maree's main passion lies in property law, particularly residential house sales and purchases, and helping first home buyers. She works hard to ensure that all clients have a clear understanding of the process, and advice they are receiving, while achieving exceptional results. Maree is also very community focused and can often be found giving her time to local boards, committees and coaching/managing school teams.
Ashleigh Demler
Legal Executive
Ashleigh commenced work with the Ryan Family in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of specialised knowledge from her property and customer service background with the local district council. Ashleigh has recently rejoined the team at Aroha Law following a period of maternity leave and has a great passion for property law, wills, powers of attorney, trusts and ensuring clients achieve their goals as effectively and efficiently as possible, with excellent outcomes.
Sharon Findsen
Trust Account Manager
Sharon holds the impressive position of having worked with many clients of Aroha Law for over 40 years. She is held in very high regard by the team at Aroha Law and also by many of the firm's long-standing clients. Having transitioned from working as a legal executive in early days for Paul Carroll, and later Peter Ryan, Sharon is Aroha Law's very experienced and highly valued Trust Account Manager.
Cushla Yetton
Receptionist. BSocSci
Cushla joined the team in 2023 and provides receptionist and administrational duties for Aroha Law. She has a deep interest in humanities, and has a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Waikato University, which provides her with great insight into both anticipating and dealing with client and team needs.
Rowan Carey
Legal Clerk
Rowan started her legal career working with the team in 2021. She is currently studying for her LLB at Waikato University and works part time for Aroha Law. Rowan primarily works in support of our lawyer and legal executives.
